Tata Automobile Corporation SA (Pty) Ltd, is the authorised Distributor of Daewoo Commercial Vehicles in South Africa. In 2005, the Novus Range helped make Daewoo Trucks a household name in South Africa. Since Daewoo’s local launch, over 6,000 models have been sold in South Africa through retail channels, exports and government departments.

Upon evaluation in 2017, South Africa was identified as a market for portfolio expansion with the Maximus Range being added to Daewoo Trucks’ local offering later that year.

Daewoo product milestones in South Africa include:

a. 2005 onwards: K5DEF (10m³ tipper), K5MVF (6m³ Concrete Mixer), K7CEF (6x4 rigid), V3TVF (6x4 truck tractor) and M2SEF (4x2 truck tractor).
b. 2013: V3TXF (6x4 truck tractor, 480HP and AMT) entry into long haul segment.
c. 2017: Introduction of Maximus range, KL3TX (6x4 truck tractor, 480HP, AMT) – exclusive truck designed for South African markets.

In order to provide you with the best possible experience, we offer free-of-cost upskilling at our training school in Johannesburg for mechanical, technical and sales personnel.

Our dedicated driver trainers are also available to conduct training to enhance your drivers’ knowledge and driving capabilities, ensuring improved life-cycle costs through efficient operation of your vehicles or fleet.

The Daewoo Range is assembled at our plant in Rosslyn, Pretoria which additionally reduces supply time to customers.
